About Western Branch Concrete
The owners of Western Branch Concrete Inc., Norman and Janet Tucker, love making backyards into showplaces for entertaining and relaxation. Western Branch Concrete has been doing just that for the past 35 years. Norman and Janet Tucker share just about everything. They both are Chesapeake natives and they graduated from Western Branch High School. They are parents and partners who combine their individual skills to keep their 35-year old business running successfully and their many clients happy. Norman is an expert in driveways, sidewalks, patios, stamped concrete, swimming pools, and other decorative elements that turn a yard into a paradise. He began working with concrete and swimming pools when he was 13 years old and since then has had extensive experience in all aspects including pouring concrete, plumbing, electrical work landscaping, and structural improvements such as cabanas, storage sheds, and entertainment areas. Janet helps clients design the backyard of their dreams and encourages them to let their hearts and imaginations guide them. They are very competitive in pricing but their real goal is to deliver quality and service. They will be there for their customers. They make every effort possible to finish on time and deliver a product that our customers will look upon with pride and satisfaction. As business owners and as family, they are quite active in our community. They have always supported a number of charities including the police department’s Blue Knights, Firefighters’ causes, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Meal on Wheels of Portsmouth. They are also members of Westhaven Baptist Church.
